Are you energetic, ambitious, and looking to develop your career? Our Johannesburg Study Abroad Sports department is looking to add an Assistant Sports Recruiter to their team. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where we achieve our business objectives and have fun doing it.
To work alongside the Manager and Business Director and to support the recruitment-sales team in the completion of all daily admin tasks and ensure the company is continuously recruiting new student athletes to study and play college/university sports abroad.

Your role and responsibilities:
Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:
- Student-Athlete Recruitment and Business Development:
- Achieving weekly KPIs and targets.
- Conducting recruitment calls and consultations.
- Following up to confirm meetings and attendance.
- Reminding applicants of deadlines and completing contract reviews.
- Evaluating the academic and athletic potential of students.
- Building and maintaining relationships with coaches and key school staff.
- Attending career days, educational expos, and sporting events nationwide.
- Assisting in developing and refining recruitment processes.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Tracking client communications and interactions on the CRM system.
- Keeping tasks and activities current and meeting deadlines.
- Delivering solutions efficiently, aligned with client needs and objectives.
- Securely handling and storing client information.
- Providing progress updates to management.
- Staying informed on product knowledge to effectively advise student-athletes.
