THIS POSITION IS 100% ONSITE IN ARLINGTON, VA


Position Responsibilities:

  • Experience developing, maintaining and supporting technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for mid- to large-sized projects.
  • Experience determining and developing approach to solutions.
  • Experience performing installation, maintenance, and support of system software/hardware and providing user support.
  • Experience identifying key barriers/core problems and applying problem solving skills in order to deal with complex situations.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
  • Experience making decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
  • Experience performing engineering and roll out implementation, configuration, debugging and support for multiple platforms.
  • Experience monitoring and tuning platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS environment and utilizing AWS administrator portal.
  • Experience in AWS services and technologies such as IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, CloudWatch and CloudTrail, Route 53, RDS, SSM, ElasticSearch and Lambda.
  • Experience in automation tools such as Powershell, Python, Ansible, etc.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Handles and resolves Tier 3 tickets using ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Configuration Management, applying STIGs to endpoint servers and laptops.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative global environment.

Required:

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • 5+ years of related systems engineering and IT experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or an additional 4 year’s equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • IAT Level II certification such as Security+ or equivalent.
