About the role
We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Accounting and Finance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the Accounting and Finance function, including financial planning and analysis, and ensure adherence to accounting principles and the creation of structure.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who collaborates closely with senior leaders across departments, providing strategic financial insights to drive profitable growth and maintain financial compliance. What you'll do
- Oversee the accounting and finance function within the organization, including managing day-to-day accounting operations, developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and insights that inform business decisions.
- Oversee equity rewards program and ensure financial information integrity and prepare for the future IPO compliance.
- Review current internal control processes and policies and make/suggest improvements.
- Manage the company's financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring financial information is timely and accurate.
- Manage the annual external audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Prepare and file all tax returns and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs and growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, setting goals and providing regular feedback to drive performance and professional growth.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
- Master’s degree in a related field or MBA is preferred
- CPA or CFA certification required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance required
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred
- ERP implementation experience a plus
- Consolidation experience with a multinational company preferred
- Experience with transfer price preferred
- Bilingual in Korean preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, as well as experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide financial insights to inform business decisions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.

The pay range for this role is:
150,000 - 180,000 USD per year (SAPEON HQ)
