The Rheumatologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, autoimmune disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions. The Rheumatologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of rheumatic conditions.
- Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
- Procedures: Perform medical procedures such as joint injections and aspirations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, physical therapists, and other specialists, to coordinate patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in rheumatology and participate in research activities as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough medical records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine.
- Completed Fellowship training in Rheumatology.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Florida (or ability to obtain a valid medical license in Florida).
- Board certification in Rheumatology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
