About the role

• Join our dedicated and patient-centered team! We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Infusion Suite, where we provide specialized treatment for patients with autoimmune and rheumatic conditions. As an LPN in our infusion department, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for infusion or injection therapy by obtaining vitals and completing prescreening questions.
• Start IVs and alert the RN when a line is established.
• Administer injections after confirming future appointments are scheduled.
• Support RNs with patient flow, seating, and turnover between treatments.
• Accurately document care provided in our EMR system (NextGen).
• Restock supplies and help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant infusion suite.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate care.
• Note: All medication mixing is performed by RNs only.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Florida
• BLS certification (required); IV certification strongly preferred
• 2+ years of LPN experience in an outpatient or clinical setting
• Experience in infusion, rheumatology, or specialty care a plus
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (NextGen preferred)
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• A calm, team-oriented approach and a strong commitment to patient care
