Position Overview
The SharePoint Developer will support the development of new solutions and sustain existing applications in support of a Government Partner mission. This role is responsible for migrating on-premises SharePoint solutions to SharePoint Online, designing and implementing web and business applications, and collaborating with stakeholders to automate and improve business processes.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Hybrid Work Schedule: 2 days onsite
  • Onsite Requirement: May be required to go onsite periodically in Arlington, VA

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of new solutions and sustainment of existing SharePoint applications in support of Government mission requirements.
  • Lead and support the migration of existing SharePoint solutions from on-premises environments to SharePoint Online.
  • Gather, analyze, and document application requirements; propose SharePoint-based solutions aligned to business needs.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document web and business applications using approved development tools and techniques.
  • Create training plans and user documentation as part of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with customer intranet and SharePoint applications.
  • Assist with the operations and maintenance of intranet applications as required.
  • Address complex technical challenges while adhering to timelines, team commitments, and customer processes.


Technical Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of continuous SharePoint development experience.
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience translating business processes into automated software solutions.
  • Strong experience interfacing with stakeholders and system owners in both steady-state operations and development environments with changing priorities.
  • Extensive experience with SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online, including platform architecture, development, and administration.
  • Experience producing responsive, multi-platform web applications using a variety of development environments, tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and query concepts.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting both On-Premises SharePoint and SharePoint Online environments.
  • Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint InfoPath forms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
    • PowerApps
    • Power Automate
    • Power BI
  • Experience collecting and documenting user requirements, developing user stories, and producing estimates.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
  • Experience maintaining and managing release schedules.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and support future SharePoint infrastructure needs.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing requirements while maintaining productivity.
  • Minimum 5 years of significant experience in SharePoint development and implementations.
  • Minimum 5 years of significant experience with Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience with SQL and Dataverse.

Salary

  • Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
