About the role
This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward suitable financial solutions for those considering getting access to some of the equity in their home. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle objections, and proficiency in navigating multiple systems while working in a dynamic environment. You will also contribute to financial product testing, lead qualification, and customer assessment processes. As part of managing your role in HomeFlex Home Equity Partnerships.
What you'll do
- Engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and help them consider appropriate solutions.
- Make outbound calls to interested client leads, handle objections, and qualify customers for a range of products.
- Get the details of the clients property and co-ordinate with the property experts on the team to consider it’s likely future capital growth and current value.
- Conduct financial viability assessments and refer eligible customers to financial/mortgage specialists if required.
- Participate in financial product and lead-source testing and experimentation.
- Attend and actively participate in daily operating rhythms, including video calls and communication channels.
- Represent the client's situation to the LongView Home Equity Fund Investment Committee

Qualifications/Experience
Required
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
Preferred
- Experience in real estate, finance, or mortgage broking.
- Personal experience with borrowing, buying, and selling real estate.
Skills
- Strong rapport-building, effective questioning, and objection-handling skills.
- Customer service and complaints-handling capability.
- Be numerically literate and able to do some math in your head on a call.
- Ability to adapt quickly and positively in a constantly changing environment.
- Pipeline management skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently and manage your time optimally to meet highest prospect clients needs as a priority.
