Senior E-Commerce Merchandising Manager
As a Sr E-Commerce Merchandising Manager for Scentbird and our portfolio of Direct-to-Consumer brands, you will play a pivotal role in curating and optimizing the online shopping experience for our customers, and you will own the revenue targets for our E-Commerce (non-subscription) business. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction by optimizing e-commerce assortment merchandising and running effective promotional campaigns, taking into account financial and operational considerations.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
E-commerce P&L ownership
Own revenue goals for the company’s non-subscription business across all brands.
Maximize revenue via effective merchandising, promotional and inventory optimization strategies.
E-commerce promotions management
Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and traffic across all brands.
Collaborate with marketing, business development, finance and operations teams to align promotional efforts with overall marketing initiatives, financial and operational constraints, as well as brand partner management considerations.
Analyze the performance of promotions and recommend adjustments for future campaigns.
E-commerce assortment merchandising
Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the online shopping experience across our owned websites and external e-tailers (e.g. Amazon).
Ensure that product pages are visually appealing, well-organized, and optimized for conversions in collaboration with digital product, operations, marketing and business development teams.
Inventory optimization
Partner with finance and operations on inventory level monitoring
Proactively design and implement promotions to optimize the inventory and drive company revenue
Data Analysis and Reporting
Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze product performance, sales trends, and customer behavior.
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for decision-making.
Provide data-driven strategic recommendations & action plans to leadership.

What You’ll Need to Have:
Experience
5-7 years of specific experience in e-commerce merchandising in fragrance, beauty, fashion or lifestyle product space
Demonstrated success in driving sales, optimizing product assortment, and enhancing the online shopping experience.
2. Promotional management & merchandising expertise
Expertise in developing and executing promotional and pricing strategies to maximize revenue while protecting profitability and remaining competitive in the market.
Experience in analyzing promotional and pricing data, conducting experiments, and adjusting strategies as needed.
Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and best practices for optimizing product presentation on e-commerce platforms.
3. Data analysis and reporting
Proficiency in using analytics tools and e-commerce platforms to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales, conversion rates, and average order value.
Experience in generating regular reports and dashboards to monitor merchandising performance and identify areas for improvement.
4. Customer-Centric Focus:
A strong understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and the ability to create customer-centric strategies in the fragrance space.
5. Communication & Collaboration Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey strategies and results to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, aligning efforts with broader business strategies.
6. Software
Experience with Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Looker, Netsuite, Commerce Tools a plus
