SENIOR SEO MANAGER
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SEO Manager to lead our search engine optimization efforts and drive organic growth for our digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of SEO best practices, technical SEO, and content strategy. This role requires a balance of technical SEO expertise, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to collaborate across teams to maximize the impact of SEO initiatives.
As the Senior SEO Manager, you will be responsible for managing SEO strategies, overseeing performance, and ensuring that all efforts align with our overall business goals. You will work closely with the content, product, development, and marketing teams to enhance organic search performance and ensure optimal user experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Develop and Execute SEO Strategy: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance overall online visibility.
- On-page and Off-page Optimization: Oversee on-page optimizations (meta tags, keyword targeting, internal linking) and off-page efforts to improve domain authority and rankings.
- Technical SEO: Conduct technical SEO audits, manage site architecture, and collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO best practices, such as optimizing site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
- Keyword Research & Content Strategy: Perform in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities, and work closely with the content team to develop optimized content strategies that align with business goals and audience intent.
- SEO Analytics & Reporting: Use SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) to track performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights that guide strategic decision-making.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in the SEO strategy and monitor industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, development, and product teams to align SEO strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring that SEO considerations are embedded into all campaigns and projects.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, share best practices, and lead training sessions to upskill team members on SEO techniques and trends.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Continuously stay informed on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in the ever-evolving search landscape to ensure the business remains competitive in organic search rankings.

What You’ll Need to Have (required qualifications):
- Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success in improving organic search performance for large-scale websites.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) and proven experience in conducting technical SEO audits and implementations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make data-driven recommendations to improve rankings and organic traffic.
- Content Optimization: Strong understanding of content strategy and how it aligns with SEO, including experience working with editorial teams to optimize content for search.
- Leadership: Experience in managing and mentoring SEO teams or collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive SEO projects to completion.
- Knowledge of Algorithms: Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and the latest industry trends and updates.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Experience with large-scale content and e-commerce platforms.
- Certification in Google Analytics or other SEO certifications.
