DATA/BI ANALYST
About the Role:
As a Data/BI Analyst at Scentbird, you will play a pivotal role in helping our organization make data-driven decisions. Your work will directly impact our business operations and strategy by providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis. You will be a crucial link between our data and business operations, contributing to the overall success of the company.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Data Modeling:
Building and developing data models for analysis and reporting.
Creating data structures and repositories to facilitate easy access to information.
Report Creation and Data Visualization:
Designing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business users.
Supporting data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or others.
Data Analysis:
Performing statistical data analysis and identifying patterns
Utilizing business knowledge to interpret data and identify key trends.
Collaboration with Business Users:
Interacting with business users to understand their needs and requests.
Assisting in solving business problems through data analysis and providing recommendations.
Monitoring and Optimization:
Evaluating the performance of business metrics and monitoring changes.
Proposing and implementing measures to optimize business processes

What You’ll Need to Have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or Computer Science. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or a similar role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R, with the ability to leverage these skills within Jupyter notebooks for data exploration and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms to effectively communicate insights from data.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to tackle complex data-related challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing principles is a plus, especially within the context of Snowflake's data warehousing capabilities.
