SchoolAI Community Coach
Position Overview
The SchoolAI Community Coach is vital in supporting educators and schools in effectively integrating AI into classrooms. This role blends customer advocacy, professional development, and educator engagement to help teachers, school leaders, and districts successfully implement SchoolAI as a transformative tool.
Community Coaches operate regionally as trusted advisors, building relationships, providing training, and ensuring the successful adoption of SchoolAI. This role includes traveling to schools, conferences, and events supporting educators in person and virtually.
As the human connection behind SchoolAI's success, Community Coaches translate AI-powered tools into meaningful classroom impact, driving educator engagement and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with educators, providing guidance and support to help them integrate SchoolAI into their teaching practices.
- Design and lead training sessions, both in-person and virtual, to support educators and schools in maximizing SchoolAI's impact.
- Participate in regional events, school visits, and professional learning experiences to engage with educators and school leaders.
- Serve as a trusted resource for educators, offering insights and best practices for effectively using SchoolAI in classrooms.
- Develop instructional resources, learning Spaces, and educator success stories to showcase innovative uses of AI in education.
- Foster a collaborative educator network by engaging in online discussions, moderating educator groups, and supporting professional learning communities.
- Gather feedback and insights from educators to help shape future training, product enhancements, and learning experiences.
- Stay informed on education trends, instructional technology, and regional priorities to support schools and districts better.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in education, instructional coaching, or EdTech training
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with experience leading professional development
- Familiarity with instructional technology and AI in education
- Proven ability to build relationships and support educators in technology adoption
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in educator engagement, training, or customer success roles
- Experience supporting technology-based learning tools in a school or district setting
- Knowledge of education funding and procurement processes
- Experience facilitating professional learning communities

Travel Expectations
To be successful, Community Coaches spend meaningful time in schools and districts, with most travel consisting of local, same-day trips by car. From time to time, extended travel – including overnight stays and air travel – may be needed for events, conferences, or to support schools in farther parts of the region. Travel requirements will ebb and flow with busy seasons and should not exceed 50% of your total work year.
Compensation & Structure
- Starting Salary Range: $70–$90K, with additional performance-based incentives.
- Location: Candidates must reside in Illinois (preferably in the greater Chicago area) and be available for regular travel throughout the state and surrounding areas, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri.
