Job Title: Liquids Recycling Material Handler

Location: 2251 Silver Creek Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76108

FLSA Classification: Non-exempt

Position Type: Full time

Typical Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am-4:00pm

Saturday - 7:00am - 1:00pm, as needed

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 DOE

About the role:

Silver Creek Materials is seeking a Material Handler to join our Liquids Recycling team. This position will assist with unloading trucks, cleaning, staging, de-casing and source separating, as well as other tasks needed to support the department.

What you'll do:

• Assist with unloading trucks that contain out of date beverages, containers, and pallets of food.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack
• De-case beverages and source-separate the commodity for crushing and recycling
• Assist with baling plastic for shipment
• Cleaning designated destruction area, staging area, and all other areas affected by the destruction and recycling process
• Assist with the transfer of liquid from destruction area to liquid holding tank
• Assist with keeping liquid destruction machines clean and greased
• Wash recycling containers for food recycling
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Forklift experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs
