Job Title: Material Handler
Location: 2251 Silver Creek Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76108
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Position Type: Full time
Typical Work Schedule: 6am-4pm
Pay Range: $16.00-$16.50
About the role:
- Partners with a dedicated team to assist with day-to-day operations and recycling processes, staying active while contributing to work that supports sustainability and the community.
What you'll do:
- Assist with unloading of trucks full of out-of-date beverages via forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
- De-case beverages and source-separate the commodity for crushing and recycling.
- Cleaning designated destruction area, staging area, and all areas affected by the destruction/recycling process.
- Assist with the transfer of liquid from destruction area to liquid holding tank.
- Assist with keeping liquid destruction machines clean and greased.
- Assist with work projects around the facility as designated by the Liquids Destruction Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be able to unload box trucks with a Forklift, hand truck, and/or pallet jack.
- Be able to work manual labor through most weather conditions.
- Work at least 40 hours per week.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must comply with background check and pre-employment screen.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Compliance with safety regulations as outlined by OSHA .
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers in job duties.
- Be able to effectively communicate.
- Must be dependable and able to receive direction.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Experience on either a forklift, wheel loader, or bobcat is a plus.
