Position Overview:
Silver Creek Materials (SCM), located on the West Side of Fort Worth, is a surface mining, large-scale composting, and recycling operation. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing inventory, processing orders, and coordinating shipping and receiving of parts and materials.

Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director
- Sell Compost, Liquids Recycling, and Mining products and services
- Assist with preparing quotes and providing product samples
- Grow and manage both existing and new accounts
- Utilize sales tools and prospecting websites
- Use Microsoft Office and various computer software systems
- Learn about SCM mining products and processes
- Engage in Mining market activities, including customer visits, meetings, and interactions focused on customer needs
- Build and maintain a network within the customer business
- Collaborate with team members to promote SCM products and services
- Work with Finance & Accounting for payment and invoice issues
- Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and standards
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience (5+ years in B2B sales)
- Experience in business-to-business sales, especially in construction, is a bonus
- Strategic and systematic thinking skills
- Proven track record of increasing customer base and revenue in a competitive market
- CRM software experience (NetSuite CRM experience is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with mining and related industries is a plus
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Bilingual (preferred but not required)
