About the role

As a Senior Product Manager in Payments, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of features across Point-of-Sale (POS), online, mobile, and embedded payment channels. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, business stakeholders, and partners to deliver frictionless payment experiences for veterinary practices and pet parents.


What you'll do

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of payment features including:
    • Terminal POS devices
    • Online checkout flows
    • Text and email to pay
    • eWallet integrations (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
    • Check capture & processing
    • Feature flag management across payment environments
  • Collaborate with an Agile pod of engineers, QA, and design to define product requirements and ship features on time
  • Work closely with the B2B dashboarding team to empower veterinary practices with self-service tools, performance insights, and granular controls
  • Help shape B2C (B2X) servicing tools for pet parents, including transaction visibility and flexible payment options
  • Collaborate with support, compliance, and operations to ensure payment reliability and regulatory readiness
  • Act as the SME for all things payments, making data-driven decisions using both internal and external sources

What we are looking for

  • Deep knowledge of payments: ACH, card networks, settlement flows, authorization retries, declines, reconciliation, fees, etc.
  • Experience with payment gateway APIs and integrating 3rd-party processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Square)
  • Familiarity with feature flagging, risk scoring, 3D Secure, fraud tools, and more
  • Past ownership of terminal and online POS systems and/or omnichannel payments
  • Proven success working with cross-functional agile teams
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Big plus if you’ve worked in veterinary, healthcare, or care-adjacent industries
