About the role

We’re seeking a QA Developer to join our fast-paced engineering team and help ensure the quality and stability of our platform as we scale. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining automated tests across our application stack, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality features with confidence. You'll bring a strong focus on test automation, continuous integration, and scalable quality practices that keep up with rapid development cycles. *This role can be located in the US/Canada/EU, ensuring overlap with 11am - 3pm EST.


What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure test coverage for new and existing features
  • Define and advocate for best practices in testing, including code reviews, testability, and continuous integration
  • Build out robust and reliable test pipelines as part of our CI/CD process
  • Investigate, document, and triage bugs; provide root cause analysis where needed
  • Develop reusable test components and utilities to streamline QA processes
  • Monitor test results and application quality, driving improvements in both process and tooling
  • Contribute to the broader engineering culture by championing quality ownership across teams

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for web based applications
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience building internal QA tooling or frameworks
  • Experience building and maintaining automated test suites using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with developers in an Agile environment

Nice to Haves

  • Experience testing in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with containerized apps (Docker)
  • Experience testing mobile apps
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)

The pay range for this role is:

90,000 - 100,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))

90,000 - 100,000 CAD per year (Remote (Canada))
