The Position:

As an Onboarding Specialist at SDL, you will be responsible for: 

  • Developing knowledge on SDL products and services to become a trusted SDL expert
  • Developing an understanding of client processes and workflows in order to develop product education, training curriculum, and onboarding plans through interactive virtual training to prepare clients for a successful launch and adoption period
  • Managing onboarding relationships and the onboarding process, including info gathering, data review and implementation of each account, to set clients up for success with the SDL product
  • Assisting with the development of an online Learning Management System and Help Desk and maintaining up-to-date training material, including providing detailed feedback and sharing items of concern identified during training sessions

What You Bring:

  • A focus on delivering an exceptional client experience, including a comfort with setting client expectations throughout the training and onboarding process and the ability to understand and convey concerns and issues identified during training 
  • Effective and articulate communicator with both strong listening and presentation skills
  • Tech savvy skills so that you can learn and train on new software platforms easily and troubleshoot client issues during training
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills 

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Experience in the SaaS industry, particularly in providing solutions to local governments.
  • Prior startup experience.
  • Zendesk experience
  • Experience (3+ years) as a software (SaaS) educator/trainer and onboarding or project management experience
  • Experience with an online Learning Management System (LMS)
