About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead our infrastructure and deployment initiatives. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions that enable our engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable applications.

This is a hands-on, technical position where you will contribute to the strategy for infrastructure automation, champion best practices, and help shape the future of our DevOps culture.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

  • Design, build, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure in Azure and GCP.
  • Lead cloud migrations, hybrid cloud solutions, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi for repeatable, version-controlled deployments.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar) for fast, reliable delivery.
  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management across multiple environments.
  • Reduce manual operational work through scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Observability & Reliability

  • Build and maintain centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to ensure system reliability.
  • Lead incident response and postmortems to identify and eliminate root causes.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement cloud security best practices: IAM policies, secrets management, network security, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Work closely with compliance teams to meet SOC 2 requirements.
  • Ensure security is baked into infrastructure and deployment pipelines (“shift-left security”).

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with developers, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and drive knowledge-sharing across the team.
  • Evaluate emerging tools and practices to improve DevOps maturity continuously.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, Azure DevOps) and GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, networking).
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi).
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and release automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).
  • Excellent scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
  • Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancers, and security in cloud environments.

Why Join Us

  • Lead mission-critical cloud infrastructure initiatives across two major cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing engineering team to drive DevOps excellence.
  • Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
  • Play a key role in shaping a modern, scalable, and secure technology platform.
