Seattle Credit Union is seeking an experienced Integration Automation Engineer to support the design and implementation of scalable, automated solutions that enhance both employee and member experiences. In this role, you’ll architect and deploy integration frameworks across core systems—particularly Fiserv platforms—leveraging tools like PowerShell and Microsoft Power Automate. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with IT, operations, and business units to identify high-impact automation opportunities, streamline workflows, and ensure data consistency across systems. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support IT infrastructure advancement by engaging automated tools throughout key business systems.
  • Architect and implement scalable integration frameworks across core systems, with a focus on Fiserv platforms and financial services compliance.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration by partnering with IT, engineering, and business units to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
  • Champion the integration of Fiserv systems by automating workflows and processes that align with financial services operations and compliance standards.
  • Identify and implement high-impact automation opportunities across departments, leveraging PowerShell, Power Automate, and emerging technologies to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Partner with senior leaders across IT, Operations, and Business Units to translate complex business needs into robust, automated solutions.
  • Design and deploy automation frameworks that enable seamless integration across complex enterprise systems, fostering operational cohesion and efficiency.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new integration tools, platforms, and methodologies to future-proof the organization’s technology stack.
  • Leverage technical expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to proactively solve problems and optimize infrastructure performance.
  • Possess a strong command of system administration, scripting, and automation technologies, paired with a solid understanding of business operations.
  • Build and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms using APIs, middleware, and custom scripting.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements, especially those involving Fiserv products, and translate them into effective automation solutions using PowerShell or Power Automate.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements, with a specific focus on integrations involving Fiserv.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems through robust automation logic and data mapping strategies.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, and best practices for automation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection regulations when building and deploying automation solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in systems integration, automation, or a related role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with either PowerShell scripting or Microsoft Power Automate in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of API concepts, protocols (REST, SOAP), and data formats (JSON, XML).
  • Extensive experience integrating with a variety of enterprise applications and systems.
  • Demonstrable experience integrating with Fiserv products is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of data manipulation and transformation techniques relevant to your chosen automation tool.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and interacting with them through PowerShell or Power Automate is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure services and integrating with them using PowerShell or Power Automate connectors.
  • Knowledge of other automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
  • Experience with API management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv's Developer Studio and API documentation
  • Any relevant Fiserv certifications or training
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Power Platform Developer).
  • Prior financial institution experience.


Working Conditions:

  • This is a hybrid role with work performed remotely as well as in an office and/or branch environment in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.
  • Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
  • The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The pay range for this role is:

105,800 - 158,800 USD per year (Remote)
