As the Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will act as an ambassador for Seattle Credit Union utilizing your strategic outreach to cultivate relationships in communities and increase accessibility through coordinated public events. Through strategic partnerships with leadership, you will help create a world-class candidate experience by serving as a liaison for candidates and hiring managers. This position is responsible for maintaining a progressive and inclusive brand, aligned with our values, utilizing all potential avenues. In this role, you will be a part of implementing a brand strategy that eliminates barriers for applicants and builds authentic connectivity with local communities. The Talent Acquisition Advisor will play a vital role in consultation, sourcing, attracting, retaining, and hiring top talent for our organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Consult hiring managers and HR Business Partners on recruitment strategies, identifying staffing needs and assisting with drafting of job descriptions. 
  • Provide guidance, advice, and subject matter consultation to develop recruitment plans that align with organizational goals. 
  • Provide full-cycle recruitment service for positions across all levels and functions at Seattle Credit Union, as assigned. 
  • Provide recommendations on creative sourcing channels, candidate assessment methods, and interview techniques to attract and recruit top talent. 
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and guidance.
  • Strategic/Critical Thinking – understanding the needs and changing needs of Seattle Credit Union; long term forecasting, planning and recruitment plans provided to Hiring Managers to mitigate attrition.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including online platforms, job boards, referrals, and professional networks, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, applicant tracking, interview scheduling.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications, experiences, and cultural fit. 
  • Facilitate and provide salary recommendations during the offer process, identifying, and recommending salary and negotiations, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Perform administrative functions such as interview scheduling, follow up communication, and reporting administration in Seattle Credit Union’s HR systems.
  • Process all new hire close out documentation to include offer letters, background and credit checks.
  • Track recruitment data and generate reports on key metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source of hire, and candidate source.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and emerging technologies. 
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, tools, and strategies to attract and select top talent effectively.
  • Actively promote SCU as an employer of choice.   Participate in job fairs, community, networking and recruiting events to enhance SCU’s visibility.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Six (6)+ years in business research, human resources, sales or recruiting.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze recruitment data and generate insights.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, database management, familiarity with job boards and various HR software tools such as ATS and HRIS.
  • Strong customer-service, communication (written, verbal, and presentation), collaboration, influencing, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an understanding of effective negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of ATS system, preferably Rippling.
  • Financial Institutional background in banking or credit unions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Working Conditions: 
  • This is a remote role with preference of geographic location in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State. 
  • Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
  • The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The pay range for this role is:

88,400 - 132,600 USD per year (US)
