Target pay range for this position is USD $23.00 - $26.00/hour. 
The full salary range for this position is: USD $18.99 - $27.55/hour.

 We are seeking several Senior Branch Representatives driven to positively impact the Credit Union’s member experience.  The Senior Branch Representative will provide coaching and training to branch reps to assure effective service to membership in all operations while following the Credit Union policies, procedures and guidelines.

 WHAT YOU WILL DO:
 
  • Mentor and coach new branch representatives.
  • Assist in the completion of timecards.
  • Communicate with members in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Serve as a loan interviewer and loan closer.
  • Helps advise members of credit union products or services that may benefit the members current and or future financial situation.
  • Assists management with audits, compliance and other branch tasks
  • Deescalate heightened member interactions
  • Contribute to branch goals by referring SCU products and services and converting referrals to new business.
  • Maintain and provide high levels of member service.
  • Maintain knowledge of SCU’s Bank Secrecy Act policy, procedures, and practices.
  • Maintain security of physical premises, branch assets and member data.
  • Ability to handle stress in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

 Basic Qualifications:
  • Education or job knowledge is equivalent to high school education plus additional specialized business training or one to three years of trade training.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Financial Institution experience (Banks / Credit Unions)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the state and federal regulations such as Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. Z, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Knowledge of robbery, fire and other security procedures in a credit union or other financial institution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of credit union history and its philosophy preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • 2 Years financial institution experience:
  • Equity trained or equivalent experience.
  • Accurate 10-key skills.
  • Accurate keyboarding/typing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent people and customer service skills.
  • Excellent balancing skills
 
Working Conditions:
  • This is an onsite role with work performed in an office and/or branch environment in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.
  • Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
  • Employees are assigned to one location, however, may occasionally fill in at other locations.
  • Saturday hours may be required.
  • The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and may also include standing for prolonged periods.
  • This role may have direct exposure to robbery.
