Role Overview:


SecondShop is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative - Warranty to join our team and drive the expansion of our warranty offerings. In this role, you will focus on identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with businesses to grow SecondShop’s warranty network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, experience in warranty programs or related services, and a passion for building long-term, profitable partnerships.


What you'll be doing:

  • Target potential clients, including retailers, service providers, and other relevant businesses, to promote and sell SecondShop’s warranty solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the warranty network and increase market penetration in key segments.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, moving opportunities from initial contact to successful partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Lead to identify and implement process improvements for warranty-related sales and partnership development.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term growth for both SecondShop and its partners.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, partnership agreements, and relevant documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of SecondShop’s warranty offerings and related services, ensuring the ability to effectively present, explain, and promote these solutions to potential partners

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management, with a proven track record of acquiring and managing new accounts in the warranty or related industries.
  • Experience working with businesses in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or service sectors, ideally with a focus on warranty solutions or similar programs.
  • Existing relationships with key decision-makers in relevant markets and industries is a strong asset.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and close deals effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and effectively present SecondShop’s value proposition.
