Role Overview:
SecondShop is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager, Owned Channels to own and scale our organic acquisition, engagement, and retention channels. You’ll lead omni-channel content strategy, influencer, affiliate partnerships, and lifecycle marketing campaigns to drive meaningful growth and deepen customer loyalty. You will blend creative instincts with analytical thinking to turn organic strategies into business impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the strategy and execution of our organic growth efforts across social, influencer, affiliate, and lifecycle channels.
- Create and manage high-impact content (posts, videos, articles) that drive brand engagement and performance. Use data to create targeted campaigns for distinct segments across all channels.
- Source, acquire, and repurpose user-generated content (UGC) to spotlight real customer stories and build trust.
- Plan, create and deploy high-converting content across all owned channels. Support partners, influencers and affiliates in content creation.
- Launch and test new content formats, campaigns, and messaging to identify what resonates with different audiences. Test subject lines, copy, offer types, and layouts to continually improve campaign performance.
- Build and scale automated flows that drive revenue including nurture campaigns, win-back strategies, inventory requests/ back-in-stock and seasonal offers.
- Write copy that is optimized for search engine optimization (SEO), AIO, engagement, and conversion.
- Oversee channel performance and own KPIs including revenue contribution, open/click rates, Customer Acquisition Cost/Customer Lifetime Value (CAC/LTV), and repeat purchase rate.
- Work closely with performance marketing, operations, and creative teams to align campaigns with inventory turnover goals.
- Highlight customer success stories, testimonials, and reviews to strengthen emotional connection and social proof.
Who we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce or Direct to Consumer (DTC) growth marketing.
- Deep hands-on experience with lifecycle and personalization tools including Klaviyo, Hubspot and Hightouch.
- Strong analytical mindset - you’re comfortable owning dashboards and making decisions based on performance data.
- Proven ability to scale owned channels that drive $200K+ in monthly revenue.
- A skilled storyteller with a strong creative eye and sharp writing ability.
- A builder: scrappy, resourceful, organized, and relentlessly focused on bottom-line growth.
- Experience marketing products with a high average order value, low purchase frequency, or longer consideration cycles is a plus.
