Role Overview:
SecondShop is seeking a results-driven Head of Growth to lead and scale our customer acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts. This pivotal role will define and own the growth strategy, combining innovation, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional leadership to drive sustainable growth for SecondShop. As the leader of the growth function, you will oversee a team and collaborate closely with product, marketing, design, and engineering to optimize growth opportunities.
What you'll be doing:
- Define and implement a comprehensive growth strategy that drives measurable business outcomes, aligning with SecondShop’s overall vision and objectives.
- Oversee and optimize a full-funnel approach, leveraging both organic and paid marketing channels to maximize efficiency and ROI.
- Spearhead high-impact, data-driven experiments (e.g., A/B testing, viral loops, referral programs) to uncover scalable growth opportunities.
- Lead the development and execution of innovative organic strategies, including advanced SEO, content marketing, influencer partnerships, and community-building initiatives.
- Oversee cost-effective paid acquisition campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader growth initiatives and maintaining a strong focus on performance metrics.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to implement product-led growth strategies, optimizing the user journey and driving activation, engagement, and retention.
- Analyze growth metrics to identify key opportunities and risks, providing actionable insights and regular updates to the leadership team.
- Plan and lead new product launches, feature releases, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful adoption and engagement.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing growth team, fostering collaboration and a culture of experimentation and innovation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging tools, integrating cutting-edge practices and technologies into the growth strategy.
Who we are looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, or a similar role, including leadership experience within a B2C startup or high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth through both organic and paid strategies, with a strong focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Expert in leveraging data and analytics to inform strategies, evaluate success, and optimize performance.
- Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, and other teams to align growth initiatives with broader business goals.
- Resourceful and creative in identifying growth opportunities, especially in constrained or competitive markets.
- Advanced knowledge of growth and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, HubSpot) and expertise in SEO, content marketing, and paid media best practices.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a bias for action and continuous iteration.
- Strong storytelling and reporting skills to articulate insights, strategies, and results to stakeholders.
