Role Overview:


SecondShop is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Adjudicator - Warranty to join our team and play a key role in managing warranty claims. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, processing, and adjudicating warranty claims to ensure a seamless experience for our customers while minimizing risk for the company. The ideal candidate will have a background in claims management or warranty services and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.


What you'll be doing:

  • Review and analyze warranty claims to determine eligibility based on the terms and conditions of the warranty policy.
  • Collaborate with customers, service providers, and internal teams to gather necessary documentation and information to process claims efficiently.
  • Evaluate repair estimates, invoices, and related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with warranty terms.
  • Make decisions on claim approvals, denials, or escalations, ensuring fairness and alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of claims, decisions, and communications in the claims management system.
  • Identify trends or issues in warranty claims and provide recommendations for process improvements or policy updates.
  • Provide timely and professional communication to all stakeholders involved in the claims process.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, regulations, and changes that could impact warranty claims processing.

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims management, warranty services, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret and apply policy terms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in using claims management systems and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce warranty programs is a plus.
