About the role

This crucial role focuses on maintaining and managing irrigation systems, supporting the health of our crops and the overall operation of the orchard. You will play a key part in ensuring effective water usage, maintaining irrigation equipment, and contributing to the success of our horticultural activities.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water delivery across the orchard
• Carry out basic nursery duties, including monitoring moisture levels
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of irrigation equipment such as pumps, filters, and valves
• Coordinate with the farm management team to support crop needs through effective irrigation practices
• Perform tree maintenance, weed control, and assist with fertigation and fertilisation tasks
• Operate farm machinery, including tractors, telehandlers, sprayers, and other equipment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience with irrigation systems, preferably in an agricultural setting
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A willingness to learn and adapt
• Good time management and task delivery
• A current driver’s licence
