At SelfPublishing.com, our mission is to help people unlock their potential and turn their ideas into impact through books. As the Sales Manager, your mission is to bridge the gap between our marketing and sales teams and lead our SDR crew to victory.
This role is all about turning warm, inbound leads into quality appointments for our Inside Sales Reps—filling calendars, increasing show rates, and ultimately, driving revenue for our sales team.
You’ll be part sales coach, part systems optimizer, and part SDR rockstar—balancing your time 60/40 between managing the SDR team and generating qualified appointments yourself.
âś… Lead & coach our SDR team to set as many high-quality appointments as possible
✅ Own the SDR pipeline—optimize lead quality, prioritize top prospects, and improve overall conversion
✅ Drive performance metrics across the team (SQLs, contact rate, show rate, completion rate—you name it)
âś… Recruit, onboard, and train new SDRs to build a high-performing, high-accountability team
âś… Run weekly SDR WACs and sales training meetings
✅ Conduct call reviews to sharpen your team’s skills and confidence
âś… Host 1-on-1s weekly to mentor and coach each rep to greatness
âś… Build systems and automations that remove busywork and maximize selling time
âś… Ensure all team members are aligned with and executing the SDR playbook
