Position Summary

As a Service Technician, you will evaluate, assemble, repair, and maintain the components in our M3 Sensor System. This includes diagnosis and testing for the purposes of quality assurance, reliability, safety inspection, regulatory adherence, environmental impact and/or sample testing. Ability to process detailed documentation is a must.


Responsibilities

  • Perform tests in a laboratory environment that can include analysis, assembling and disassembling, and chemical variations of products to ensure quality
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Ability to interact with inventory control programs, command line, and serial terminals
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment
  • Conduct retesting of product as needed to support quality investigations to drive to measurable results
  • Monitor use and inventories of laboratory supplies
  • Make recommendations for adjusting process conditions to encourage improvements and ensure quality standards are met
  • Adhere to safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain good housekeeping to ensure laboratory cleanliness
  • Record findings and clearly communicate results with team
  • Document all work performed and report to management
  • Represent Sennos in a professional and positive manner


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical school or associate degree in electronics, laboratory science, or related field preferred (or equivalent years of hands-on experience)

Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting electronics
  • Experience with bench lab work and wet chemistry
  • Comfortable with small hand tools and mechanical assembly

Skills:

  • Ability to operate laboratory equipment and follow laboratory procedures
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions effectively
  • Adaptability to an ever-evolving work environment
  • Self-motivated and able to establish an effective and efficient routine
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Good social skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older


Preferred Qualifications

  • Sound understanding of Brewing Science
  • Experience with inventory control systems
  • Familiarity with command line interfaces and serial terminals
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or production testing environment


Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods while performing laboratory work
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionally
  • Manual dexterity required for working with small hand tools and delicate equipment
  • Laboratory setting with potential exposure to chemicals (proper safety protocols followed)
  • May require occasional overtime or weekend work to support production schedules
