About the Role:

Job Title: Office Manager & Administrative Support Specialist

Rate: $25-30 per hour

Type: Contractor

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Office Manager who will also take on the responsibilities of an administrative specialist. This hybrid role is crucial for maintaining a well-run office environment while supporting our HR and Executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Management:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment.
  • Handle general office administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents.
  • Liaise with building management and external vendors to address office maintenance and service needs.
  • Support leadership team with calendar management
  • Assist and facilitate company wide events

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, HR Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with office management software (e.g., MS Teams, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws and hiring regulations.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
