About the Role:

As a Devops Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we can develop features fast. From full-stack deploys for each code change all the way through production, we want to enable our teams to experiment quickly and without worry. You’ll make sure it’s seamless to transfer locally developed code into deployed to production code. You’ll be responsible for adopting devops and security best practices across the team.

What You'll Do:

  • Infrastructure & Cloud Operations: Manage, optimize, and scale our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 
  • CI/CD Ownership: Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; enable faster and safer deployment workflows. 
  • Database & Systems Support: Collaborate with engineers on database operations including PostgreSQL optimization and monitoring.
  • Security & Compliance: Drive infrastructure security best practices, conduct regular reviews, and help implement tooling and policies to meet evolving security needs. 
  • Observability: Enhance system monitoring, alerting, and  logging to ensure reliability and quick incident response. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and design to ensure infrastructure supports evolving business needs. 
  • Remote Collaboration: Work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating across time zones with proactive, clear, and timely communication through Slack, written documentation, and video calls. 
  • Process Improvement: Constantly evaluate and improve deployment workflows, configuration management, and operational processes.


What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure role with at least 3 years as a senior team member or lead. 
  • Strong experience with GCP and PostgreSQL in production environments.  
  • Proficient in managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions). 
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform. 
  • Experience implementing and maintaining infrastructure security practices. 
  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and system-level thinking. 
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environment. 
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.
