We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensing Speciliast to join our Medical Staff Services team. This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
As a Licensing Specialist for our Tele-Neurology Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient licensing and credentialing processes for healthcare professionals. Your meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality and accessible healthcare services through telemedicine.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain electronic provider records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform regular audits of Medical Staff Services software for completeness.
- Assist with obtaining back-up documentation and verifications as needed.
- Assist with updating spreadsheets based on weekly updates.
- Assist with obtaining new provider paperwork to initiate the credentialing process.
- Create abbreviated CVs for enrollment and privileging needs.
- Register providers for online or live courses, certifications, and recertifications.
- Collect current memberships and organize them into providers' electronic files.
- Assist with supervising physician requests and protocol agreements.
- Upon direction, assist with obtaining DEAs (Drug Enforcement Administration) and CSRs (Controlled Substance Registrations).
- Participate in education sessions specific to corporate needs or job duties, whether locally or remotely, as needed.
- Provide training to other employees, locally or remotely, as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Above-average organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work in a typical office environment involving sitting or standing for long periods, some light lifting, and computer and desk work.
