VP of Sales, Americas

SheerID is actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales, Americas to lead its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of scaling high-performing sales teams and exceeding revenue targets in the competitive B2B SaaS landscape.

This executive will be responsible for leading a team of experienced Enterprise Sales Executives to drive bookings and quota attainment, refine and execute our comprehensive sales playbook and actively collaborate on operational strategy and leadership issues across the entire Revenue Team. The VP of Sales, Americas will play a pivotal role in driving operational discipline, developing a strong, positive culture of mentorship and coaching, and fostering strong, lasting relationships with key clients and prospects.

Role Specific Job Duties:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Collaborate on and implement both quantitative and qualitative sales strategies and execution motions across the Americas that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Team Development and Mentorship: Lead, coach, and expand a high-performing sales organization. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to the sales team.
  • Sales Cycle Execution: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure. Inspect and refine sales methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the sales cycle.
  • Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and regular performance reports to the executive leadership team.
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs: Monitor , analyze and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team. Utilize data to identify trends, measure performance, and make informed decisions to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to ensure alignment on lead generation, messaging, and campaign execution. Collaborate with the product and customer success teams to provide market feedback and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a significant portion of that time in an Enterprise Sales leadership role.
  • A demonstrable track record of success in building and leading high-performing sales teams to consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Americas market, including its diverse business cultures and regional nuances.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with a proven ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
  • A passion for technology and a deep understanding of the evolving technology  landscape. Knowledge of the marketing technology and/or services space is a plus.
