Recruiter (Remote, Part-Time, Temporary)

Location: Remote position open to candidates in California or Texas, with a preference for California residents.

Schedule: 25-30 hours per week, flexible schedule during PST business hours, Monday - Friday.

Duration: Late August through approximately January

Compensation: $30-35/hour based on experience and education


About the role:

We are seeking a Temporary Part-Time Recruiter to support agency-wide hiring during a team member's leave of absence. This role will lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions, including frontline staff, program and property managers, administrative roles, and director-level positions.


What you’ll do:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition intake through offer.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and complete reference checks.
  • Present offers and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in Rippling ATS.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with CA employment laws and organizational policies.


What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, non-profit recruiting experience is desired!
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of roles and levels.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms; Rippling experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of CA employment laws and hiring best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Indeed.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
