Job Summary:


As part of the Global Product Learning & Development team, this role focuses heavily on e-learning video production by transforming technical information into simple, clear, and visually compelling digital learning content. The Instructional Content Designer will create e-learning videos that help our end users effectively use our software in their daily roles.


The ideal candidate brings expertise in instructional design, software, visual design, and technical writing. Responsibilities include working with the Senior Instructional Designer in developing micro-learning and video-based content that supports our internal and external learners and end users. This role requires communication, collaboration, and analytical skills with a strong proficiency in instructional design tools and resources.


As a member of the Global Product Learning & Development Team, the Instructional Content Designer is expected to stay current with evolving best practices, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies. Success in this role also requires the ability to be flexible, open to learn new things, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced global organization.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Create engaging e-learning video content that will be used to train end users on software, processes, and workflows using Synthesia.
  • Create clear, visually driven storyboards for instructional videos, working closely with the Senior Instructional Designer and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Translate technical and functional software features into user-friendly training modules focused on real-world applications.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM etc.) to ensure content is effective and engaging.
  • Support ongoing updates to training materials based on software enhancements, user feedback, and business goals

Please Note: our training content is for a global audience so will interact with team members from different time zones and creating content in different languages.

 

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related program.
  • Minimum 3yrs of work experience in e-learning, instructional design, and/or related fields
  • Strong proficiency in instructional design tools, authoring tools, video editing tools, visual design tools (e.g., Articulate, Filmora, Camtasia, LMS, and Artificial Intelligence Software).
  • English fluency
  • PowerPoint Expert
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Highly proficient with e-learning content creation and utilizing learning technology to develop content for different modalities (e.g., instructor-led, eLearning, remote learning, blended learning).
  • Knowledge of instructional design process, industry standards, best practices, and adult learning theory.
  • Experience with storyboarding, storytelling, creating imagery out of ideas, and presenting facts in an interesting manner.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, eLearning tools, and graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
