Description of Duties

Title: Warehouse Clerk PM Shift

Classification: Non-Exempt

Pay Rate*: $20/hr.

Location: Vernon, CA (Onsite)

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 12:30pm - 9pm PST

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

INVENTORY AND SORTING

● Assist with inventory control, verification of stock, perform physical counts on items.

● Assist with hand tagging and identifying items.

● Assist with sorting merchandise into appropriate warehouse locations: sort and place items

on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.

● Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits

ORDERS and SHIPPING

● Prepare orders to be fulfilled, pulling items, preparing orders, and placing orders in the

shipping area, all according to schedule.

● When fulfilling orders for shipping, verify that items are free of any defect and follow all

packing and shipping procedures.

● Assist with processing International orders.

● Pick or pack with motivation to meet the daily shipment quota.

● Load boxes into trucks for shipment.

● Assist with following up on any issues with the specified carrier.

● Assist with expediting any special shipments.

● Assist with processing vendor and PR shipments.

TECHNOLOGY

● Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers.

● Pick orders with WMS mobile devices.

● Assist with monitoring internal email for Shipment information and communicate from

shared and direct email accounts.

QC

● Assist with performing quality inspections on merchandise and ensure the product meets

quality requirements.

● Maintain high packing standards and quality control.

● Assist with quality control of product by steaming, notifying Returns of Repairs, and lint

rolling product before it gets packed.

MISCELLANEOUS

● Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed (labeling, distributing trim/raw

materials/inventory to Production Team).

● Assist with removal of cardboard, trash, and pallets.

● Assist with maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the Stock room, Warehouse,

show room and shared areas.

● Help maintain a safe and clean work environment.

● Assist Customer Care with sales events.

● Perform other duties as assigned

● Ability to communicate effectively with team members of different backgrounds, skill sets,

and cultural experience verbally and in writing.

● The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

● Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

● Excellent attendance and punctuality.

● Provide flexibility to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends & holidays.

● Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization

and the state.

Minimum Requirements

● High School degree or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements:

● Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.

● Engage in verbal and written communication with others.

● Regularly lift and move objects 35 - 50 lbs, occasionally lift and move objects that weigh

more than 100 lbs.

● Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

● Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

● Will need to walk, sit or stand for extended periods of time.

● Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones.

● Must be able to access various departments of a given location.

● Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.

● Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards.
