About the role:

Job Title : Manager, Product QA

Experience : 8+ years

Location : Pune, India

Reports to : Product Head

As the Product QA Manager at Sibros, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based SaaS platform. You will lead and expand a team of test automation engineers, driving test automation, process improvements, and best practices to enhance product and release quality.

This role is hands-on and strategic, requiring both technical expertise in test automation and strong leadership skills to scale our QA operations. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks, integrating testing into our CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and software engineers to create comprehensive test plans for new features.

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, ensuring high team engagement and performance.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy with a strong focus on automation to improve product reliability and release quality.
  • Be hands-on, building and maintaining automated test frameworks and tests using tools like Playwright for web portal and API testing.
  • Work closely with customers and product owners to define comprehensive test criteria and proactively find issues in the current product
  • Define and enforce best practices for test automation, including writing maintainable, scalable, and reusable tests.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, triage issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.

What you should know:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of industry experience in validation/QA, with at least 2+ years leading teams.
  • Proven track record of hiring, leading, and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong experience in test automation for web applications and APIs, with expertise in Playwright or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation, like JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with test case management, bug tracking, and reporting tools, like JIRA and XRay
  • Experience defining and implementing QA processes, strategies, and best practices to ensure high product quality.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated testing integrates into development workflows.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills, with experience in analyzing logs and diagnosing test failures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with product managers and engineers.
