The Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to join our team. This role will be central to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations while supporting a wide range of projects across the organization. You will partner closely with our leadership team, manage day-to-day accounting functions, and collaborate with both internal team members and external accounting partners.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations & Systems


    • Maintain and improve our accounting and finance systems (ERP, bill pay, payroll, etc.)
    • Ensure accurate data flow between internal systems and outsourced accounting providers
    • Maintain and improve detailed cash flow analysis and forecasting


  • Vendor & Cash Management


    • Manage bill pay processes, including vendor setup, invoice approvals, and timely payments
    • Support collections from customers and maintain visibility into AR


  • Reporting & Investor Support


    • Prepare and deliver monthly financial actuals for internal management and external investors
    • Support budget vs. actuals analysis and variance commentary


  • Compensation & Payroll


    • Calculate and validate sales commissions
    • Oversee payroll processing
  • HR Operations & Support
    • Maintain employee data and workflows in Rippling (HRIS/Payroll platform)
    • Provide light support for headcount reporting, onboarding, and policy upkeep


  • Team & Ad Hoc Support


    • Serve as a resource for internal team members on finance-related processes
    • Provide hands-on support for special projects and initiatives as needed


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience (software/SaaS experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and operational finance processes
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience coordinating with outsourced accountants or external vendors
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Process-oriented mindset with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”

Compensation for this role is $70,000 annually
