Silvaco is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounts payable, payroll, and period-end close processes within a multi-subsidiary and multi-currency environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting audits and year-end filings. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across departments, streamline accounting operations, and contribute to the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes, compliance, and reconciliations, with the ability to streamline operations and support audits. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to: 

Accounts Payable: 

  • Manage AP processes, including PO creation and review, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. 
  • Perform journal entries, accruals, sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliations. 
  • Maintain consistency across capitalization, amortization, accruals, and reversals. 
  • Oversee intercompany invoice reclassification and AP cleanup. 
  • Review accounts payable aging and resolve unapplied credits. 
  • Process vendor invoices, payments (ACH, wire, web portal, and checks), and tax payments. 
  • Prepare weekly cash disbursement reports and oversee credit card balances. 

Payroll: 

  • Act as the primary backup payroll processor and maintain compliance with payroll regulations. 
  • Assist with payroll tax setup and statutory compliance for new states. 
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for payroll-related accounts. 
  • Generate payroll reports, accruals, and final check processing. 
  • Ensure accurate commission payout calculations and reconciliations. 

Period-End Close, Compliance and other Accounting tasks: 

  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including accruals, reclasses, cutoff analysis, and reconciliations. 
  • Assist with audit preparations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Manage sales tax filings and reconciliations for various states. 
  • 1099 filings, W2 review, and assist with other tax related items as needed.  
  • Assist other areas of accounting, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (customer setup, PO vs invoice review, etc.) and Cash postings. 

 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • 6+ years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting. 
  • Experience using enterprise accounting and/or ERP systems.  We currently use Sage Intacct for accounting and BILL.com for AP. 
  • Experience with Payroll/HRIS platforms. We currently use Rippling. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office Suite 
  • Ability to adapt to multi-currency and multi-subsidiary accounting environments. 
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work cross-functionally. 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $84,745 - $100,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.


Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
