JOB SUMMARY
 
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join our team as an entry-level Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will report directly to the Head of Compliance and will assist in ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to:
  • ISO 9001 Implementation and Maintenance: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 standards. Help develop and update quality management system documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • ISO 26262 Audit Preparation: Support preparation for upcoming ISO 26262 audits. Assist in developing audit plans, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with functional safety standards.
  • Licensing Compliance: Help manage and oversee licensing compliance efforts. Ensure that all software and product licenses are up-to-date and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Participate in regular quality audits and inspections.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and support initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Assist in implementing best practices and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
  • Risk Management: Assist in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to address potential quality and compliance issues. Help maintain and update risk management documentation.
  • Training and Development: Provide support in training and guiding employees on quality standards and compliance procedures. Assist in developing training materials and conducting workshops as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Foster a culture of quality and compliance within the organization.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing and presenting quality reports to senior management. Track and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
 
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 26262 standards is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Prolonged periods of typing
  • Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
  • Ability to lift (up) to 15 pounds at times.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $72,800-92,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
  
 Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
