Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, experienced professional to drive the growth of Sipcam Agro’s biostimulants and differentiated products by partnering with key customers, influencers, and the Sipcam Agro sales team. This person will act as a technical sales expert to promote product adoption and share insights on sustainable trends, cropping solutions and emerging technologies.

This person will engage with Retail-agronomists, PCA’s, growers, and consultants to build demand and position the targeted portfolio in a customer value-added manner. Lead key retail and distributor locations in creating demand and supporting demonstration projects in collaboration with account managers and leadership to achieve business goals. Execute programs supporting both current and future sales initiatives.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong agronomy skills, technical selling and field demonstration experience, including plot trial setup and evaluation
  • Drive product adoption with customers through showcasing agronomic benefits that build and close Sipcam commercial sales
  • Proven ability to create demand through non-price value-based creation
  • Strong cross-collaboration skills in working with sales account managers and leaders, to deliver the business plan
  • Excellent communication, reporting, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Strong business planning and understanding of distribution system and selling techniques

Experience and Education

  • 5 - 10 years in field sales/agronomy with ag distributors, retail and growers focused on biostimulants or value added, differentiated product concepts
  • In-depth agronomy, soil fertility, and plant science knowledge
  • Sales skills with retail, distribution, and growers
  • BS, MS, or MBA in Agriculture (weed science, entomology, plant physiology, plant pathology, or agronomy), Business, or Economics

Additional Requirements

  • Up to 70% travel; must maintain an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work in variable weather conditions with mechanical inclinations to support drones and basic servicing
  • Ability to obtain drone use and licensing to support technical development and customer engagement activities
  • This role will require extended overnight stays as needed
