Human Resources Generalist


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Generalist to manage and execute day-to-day HR operations while contributing to broader HR initiatives. This role serves as a key partner to both employees and leadership, ensuring HR processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.

 

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience across all core HR functions, including employee lifecycle management, compliance, HRIS administration, performance management, benefits, payroll, and employee engagement. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters and play a key role in enhancing the overall employee experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Recruiting, Onboarding & Offboarding

o   Own the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to offboarding

o   Manage job postings across platforms, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate full-cycle interview processes.

·       Employee Relations & Support:

o   Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and workplace concerns.

o   Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on a range of issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, harassment, and discrimination

·       HR Compliance & Systems:

o   Maintain HRIS systems, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

o   Provide employment verifications and generate internal reports as needed.

·       Payroll & Benefits:

o   Process semi-monthly payroll and ensure accuracy of related data

o   Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and renewals in collaboration with benefits brokers.

·       Performance Management:

o   Oversee the performance review process including annual and mid-year cycles.

o   Facilitate communication regarding goal setting, KPI tracking, and provide ongoing support to managers and employees as needed.

·       Additional responsibilities

o   Support immigration and visa processes for expatriate employees in coordination with the immigration attorney

o   Communicate with and support requests from HQ as needed

 

Qualifications & Skills:

·       Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

·       At least 5–7 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with broad generalist exposure

·       Solid understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, compliances and benefits administration

·       Proficiency in HRIS systems (Rippling, ADP, etc.), and MS Office Suite

·       Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

·       Ability to work independently with a high level of confidentiality and discretion

·       Bilingual in Korean is a plus
