Position Summary

Sketchy is looking for a versatile Graphic Designer to create high-impact visual assets across both digital and print channels. You will be responsible for bringing Sketchy's unique brand and voice to life through digital marketing assets, web experiences, social media imagery, presentation design, and more. 


This role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution. You will touch all parts of the audience and revenue-generating funnels on the B2B and B2C sides, including organic social media, email, sales enablement, web pages, and paid advertising. 


This is a hands-on design role with room to shape visual strategy. You’ll not only execute projects but also contribute to the conceptual development of campaigns. Working with marketing, product, content, sales, and growth teams, you’ll help ensure consistent design choices that align with brand aesthetics and campaign goals.


Sketchy is hiring remote employees in these select US states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington!


Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Concepting

  • Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for campaigns that resonate with medical learners, institutional faculty, and healthcare professionals.
  • Translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions tailored to target audiences.

Design Execution

  • Create high-quality digital assets including web page layouts, social media graphics, email designs, presentation decks, infographics, paid advertising creatives, and event materials. 
  • Produce print collateral such as brochures, one-pagers, and conference and promotional materials. 
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate on assets to meet project goals.

Brand Stewardship

  • Apply Sketchy's brand identity (typography, color, layout, and tone) consistently across all touchpoints.
  • Evolve and adapt visual approaches for new initiatives while maintaining brand integrity.

Digital Design & Technical Specifications

  • Design graphics optimized for web and social platforms. 
  • Ensure all digital assets meet platform-specific technical requirements including dimensions, file sizes, formats, safe zones, and aspect ratios. 
  • Understand export settings and optimization techniques for various digital channels and devices. 
  • Create responsive designs that work seamlessly across different screen sizes. 

Print Production

  • Deliver press-ready assets for brochures, OOH, and promotional materials when needed. 
  • Apply print production best practices for occasional print projects. 

Collaboration & Presentation

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand objectives and refine creative approaches. 
  • Present concepts and design rationale clearly and persuasively to both creative and non-creative audiences.
  • Proactively communicate project status, timelines, and any potential roadblocks.

Agility & Problem-Solving

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively propose creative solutions that balance business needs with design excellence.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years of professional design experience in both digital and print.
  • Portfolio: Required for consideration; should showcase a balance of web, digital, and print work, as well as evidence of conceptual thinking.
  • Technical skills/tools:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign are highly valued). Figma for digital/web layouts and collaborative design work, Google Suite.
  • Strong understanding of digital design best practices, including responsive design principles, web accessibility, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Experience designing for email campaigns, paid ads, and organic social content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Knowledge of print production standards (export settings, file formats, color profiles) for occasional print projects. 
  • Strong communication, ability to present ideas clearly, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment across multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Passion for staying current with emerging platforms, design trends, and tools in the digital space. 
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and working across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bonus points: motion graphics or basic animation skills, understanding of A/B testing and data-informed decisions, experience with healthcare or medical education.

Annual Salary Range

$100,000 - $120,000 annual salary plus a performance-based annual bonus and stock options
