Position Summary

Sketchy is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Institutional to help drive our next chapter of institutional growth. You’ll be a key player in shaping how our products are positioned in the market and building go-to-market strategies across programs (including UME, GME, NP, PA), working alongside sales, product, and growth teams.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with real opportunity for impact. You’ll be shaping messaging, building sales tools, supporting events, and helping turn insight into action. For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to contribute meaningfully to an AI-enabled medical education future from the ground up.


Sketchy is hiring remote employees in these select US states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington!


Responsibilities

Market Research & Segmentation

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to understand trends, competition, and customer needs to inform product development and positioning.
  • Use data to assess segment potential and support prioritization of campaigns, personas, and product focus areas 
  • Lead Voice of the Customer (VoC) initiatives by synthesizing insights from educators, institutions, and internal teams to shape messaging, positioning, and product strategy.
  • Create and refine customer personas to drive targeted messaging and campaign planning.

Product Messaging & Positioning

  • Develop clear, differentiated product messaging that resonates with our various audiences.
  • Translate product features into compelling value propositions tailored to each audience.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and partner with lifecycle marketing to align touchpoints across the full customer journey.

Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end GTM strategy for product launches across institutional offerings.
  • Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns aligned to launch milestones.

Cross-functional Enablement

  • Create and manage sales enablement materials including one-pagers, case studies, and email templates.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop webinars, workshops, and educational content that drive pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate closely with product and content teams to ensure marketing reflects current and future product capabilities.

Feedback & Metrics

  • Align on KPIs with product and sales, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and product adoption.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, institutional marketing, or B2B education marketing
  • Demonstrated success in high-output, cross-functional roles
  • Strong writing and storytelling ability—especially in crafting value-driven messaging
  • Comfort working closely with sales teams and navigating longer academic sales cycles
  • Strong quantitative skills and familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Looker, HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Experience managing assets and deliverables across multiple programs and stakeholders
  • A self-starter with a bias toward action, iteration, and ownership
  • Deep curiosity about AI and its potential to reshape medical and health education
  • Passionate about advancing medical learning outcomes through innovative, learner-centric solutions

Annual Salary Range

$165,000 - $180,000 annual salary plus a performance-based annual bonus and stock options
