Position Summary

Sketchy is looking for an Institutional Customer Success Manager. You will be responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients, including programs in pre-med and medical education (such as MD, DO, PA, NP, and med-adjacent programs), ensuring they derive maximum value from Sketchy's solutions. This role combines strategic account management with proactive customer engagement, requiring a blend of relationship-building, sales acumen, and problem-solving skills. Above all, you must be customer-obsessed—committed to deeply understanding client needs, advocating for their success, and delivering exceptional value at every touchpoint.


Sketchy is hiring remote employees in these select US states: California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington!


Responsibilities: 

Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of institutional accounts, including programs in pre-med and medical education programs (e.g., Med, PA, and NP programs), serving as the primary point of contact for decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute customized account plans to achieve revenue and retention goals for institutional clients.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to support new institutional business opportunities, including identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities and renewals.

Customer Success

  • Ensure institutional clients in medical education achieve measurable outcomes using Sketchy’s solutions and are satisfied with their investment.
  • Proactively onboard new institutional clients, ensuring a seamless setup and integration of Sketchy’s platform.
  • Monitor usage metrics and provide training, resources, and best practices to drive adoption and 
  • engagement within medical education institutions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with institutional clients to review progress, address challenges, and identify additional needs.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback and collaborating with internal teams to improve the product and service experience for institutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing to create resources and campaigns tailored to institutional success and engagement in pre-med and medical education.
  • Work closely with Product and Support teams to resolve institutional customer issues and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with our CFO to ensure all renewals are executed on time, minimizing attrition and maintaining strong client retention.
  • Prepare and deliver data-driven performance reports to institutional clients and internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar role in EdTech, SaaS, or working with institutional clients (e.g., universities or medical education programs).
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for exceeding institutional client expectations and driving their success.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, retention, or upselling targets.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and create compelling client presentations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Customer Success platforms
  • Passion for education, technology, and helping institutions succeed.

Who you will work closely with 

Salary Range

$90,000 - $104,000 plus generous sales incentive opportunity
