The Opportunity

Skift, the most influential media and events company in the global business of travel, is looking for a full-time  Sales Coordinator, EMEA to join their Sales team. In this role, you will support the EMEA Sales team and the growing EMEA sales funnel and will report to the Managing Director (EMEA). 


As part of the role, you will be responsible for assisting clients through the pre and post sales process by setting up calls/meetings, managing follow up communications and working with the internal agency team (SkiftX) to ensure programs are set up for success. You will source and vet new leads as well as identify opportunities for existing clients.


Skift is a fully distributed, remote company with employees based across the globe. This position is remote, from anywhere in the United Kingdom and requires a high level of coordination and communication skills to be successful. 

You must be able to work independently, meet goals, set tasks in a timely manner, join meetings via video, and periodically work outside normal company hours for special events or projects.

Some of What You'll Do

  • Manage and support clients through the pre + post sales process

  • Assist and  troubleshoot clients through campaign execution

  • Help  vet and qualify new leads 

  • Support the EMEA Sales team in identifying and  generating new business

  • Set up meetings and managing follow up communications with clients

  • Work with the wider Skift team to manage client programs

  • Other tasks as required

The Experience You Bring 

  • University Degree

  • 2 years experience in a commercial/sales environment

  • Sales pipeline managing knowledge (HubSpot experience a plus)

  • Experience in an administrative role

  • Highly organized with an attention to detail

  • Ability to collaborate as part of a fast paced team

  • Desire to take initiative, problem solve

  • Desire to learn and  develop into a full time salesperson

  • Ability to prioritize duties as demands change

  • Experienced with powerpoint and google docs 

Bonus Point 
  • Knowledge of travel industry a plus
