Role Overview:
As a SmartSuite Account Executive, you’ll be the face of SmartSuite for potential customers.
Your mission: to identify high-value opportunities, guide prospects through an engaging and consultative sales process, and turn conversations into long-term partnerships. If you’re passionate about solving complex challenges, creating tailored solutions, and closing deals, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Sales Cycle Management: Lead the entire sales process, including lead generation, product demonstrations, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and aligning our solutions to meet their objectives.
- Product Expertise: Attain a deep understanding of SmartSuite's offerings to effectively communicate value propositions and ROI to clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes to strategically position SmartSuite's solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Development, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
- Forecast Accurately: Maintain detailed records in our CRM to track activities, manage your pipeline, and provide precise revenue forecasts.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 3-7 years in a closing role at a B2B SaaS company, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities; adept at managing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Experience selling work management, project management, or relational database systems is a big plus.
- Approach: Consultative selling style with a customer-centric mindset; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What Will Set You Apart:
- BA/BS Degree in a related field.
- Experience selling horizontal B2B SaaS products with complex discovery processes.
- Passion for delivering customer-centric value and building relationships.
- Proven ability to independently manage large sales territories or verticals.

*** For candidates based in Irvine, the on-target earning (OTE) range for this role is:
$120,000 - $180,000 USD (50/50 salary/commission) + equity
