What you'll do
- Be the primary support to outside sales for new opportunity quoting and order status
- Manage the sales process flow from RFQ through to Order Entry and Delivery
- Enter new opportunities in CRM
- Submit requests for research to sourcing and follow up
- Generate quotations and send to outside sales for review for supported key accounts & directly quote non-key accounts
- Ensure compliance with customer RFQ submission requirements
- Ensure compliance with SMT quality systems & processes
- Create sales orders & order routing information
- Coordinate all parties on non-Conformities
- Liaise effectively across teams to meet business needs – Sales/Purchasing/Quality/Test Lab/Finance
- Effectively manage open orders, tracking order delivery status and align with outside sales, keeping systems and customer up to date
- Manage web portals to perform customer requests, maintenance, retrieval of information, and posting of data
- Support, prepare, and submit certifications and other representations for the business
- Maintain customer data and information in centralized systems, ensuring customer information is controlled in accordance with Customer Non-Disclosure requirements
- Perform sales and marketing data analyses and publish weekly, monthly, quarterly metrics (bookings, quotes, etc.)
- Other administrative/marketing support tasks including customer and partner onsite and virtual meeting preparation, event planning and support (e.g., scheduling, meeting room set up, ordering food, etc.)
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to effectively track and prioritize tasking
- Ability to problem solve, taking a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Must be detail and customer oriented
- Must have excellent time management and communication skills
- 1+ year of customer service experience
Schedule
- 8AM - 5 PM, with an hour unpaid lunchbreak
- Monday to Friday
- In person on-site
