The Purpose of This Role
The Account Executive understands the marketing pain points of financial professionals and believes Snappy Kraken to be the best solution. This person maintains an enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful demeanor, consistently presenting themselves professionally in writing, on the phone, via video demos, and in person. Motivated to align prospects with the right solutions, the Account Executive can insightfully highlight the unique advantages of our product clearly to anyone, from senior executives to junior assistants.
This position will report directly to the Retail Sales Manager.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
The primary function of this role is to close ideal prospects consistently. It requires:
Understanding, identifying, and closing our ideal prospect for long-term success on our platform
Consistent follow up and documentation throughout the sales process
Clearly articulating our value proposition and successfully overcoming objections
Detailed knowledge of our workflows, products, and technology
Skill at negotiating and closing sales
Dedication to continually improving your craft (this is a must!)
Being a collaborative team player with a positive attitude
Occasional business travel to conduct sales at conferences and roadshows
Primary Qualifications
US Financial industry experience preferred
1-3 years of FULL-CYCLE sales experience
Confident in independently cultivating and managing their own sales pipeline
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Well-spoken and persuasive
Tech-savvy
Organized and attentive to details
Execute accurately, independently, and with minimal guidance
Prior Experience using modern sales engagement tools and methodologies
Educational background in Marketing, Sales, or Business (or related field)
Team player that will work with others to reach a larger goal
Proven experience producing in a virtual environment
Tech-Savvy and highly comfortable working with remote communication software
Ability to be productive, disciplined, and trustworthy while working independently

As of October 2024, the expected compensation range for this position is $45,000-60,000 USD base plus commission for an expected $100,000-120,000 OTE. Pay will be based on several factors, such as experience, certifications, location, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. Snappy Kraken anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and retains the right to change or revisit the salary range according to business needs.
