Socially Powerful is a global social media marketing agency offering bespoke, end-to-end services to our clients.  Our rapidly growing team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors and account managers work together to create impactful content for our list of global brands,  spanning a variety of industries, from beauty to beverages to banking. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Junior Creative. We’re after someone brimming with creativity, bursting with ideas, and eager to learn and evolve alongside us.


About the Role

Creativity sits at the heart of everything we do at Socially Powerful, meaning our Junior Creatives play a very important role within the agency! As a Junior Creative, you will work closely with both our Accounts and Business Development teams, helping to develop jaw-dropping creative ideas with a social-first focus for both new and existing clients.


We are looking for an individual who will approach ideas from different perspectives to make a positive impact. You’ll be interested in learning about all the ways people interact with brands and how consumer insights can be transformed into award-winning creative concepts. You’ll be drawn to understanding and solving problems for our clients. You’ll embrace every brief as an opportunity to break the mould. And you’ll have ambitions as big as your ideas.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to client briefs, working with the wide accounts team to develop bold and effective creatives that are informed by competitive and consumer trends to help achieve clients’ campaign objectives.
  • Interrogating client briefs and finding the potential, asking questions to better understand.
  • Writing clear and impactful proposals and crafting persuasive pitches to bring to life our strategy, creatives and recommendations.
  • Leading and actively contributing to creative sessions and focus groups- helping to steer the teams to pull out great insights and ideas from across the agency.
  • Supporting the Accounts and Business Development teams when pitching to clients, presenting your creative ideas in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Assisting with pitch deck design to present our ideas in a visually compelling way.
  • Working with the Business Development team on identifying new opportunities with prospective clients and developing proactive pitch decks.

Required Skills And Experience To Apply

  • University graduate with minimum 2:1, BA in Creative Advertising preferred but not essential.
  • Prior experience on creative placement is beneficial but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for digital marketing, ideally social media or influencer marketing.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively explain your ideas to others in written or visual form.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas and write clear and engaging pitch decks.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing innovative creative concepts for social-first campaigns.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and happy to share prototyped, unfinished ideas.
  • Desire to push for ideas that are less expected and remarkable.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A team player that is flexible, committed and keen for new experiences, responsibility and accountability.
