Socket is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Service Delivery Specialist – Carrier Relations to play a key role in transitioning business and residential customers onto Socket’s network. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with our sales team and Service Delivery Coordinator to ensure timely and seamless service implementation, meeting critical delivery deadlines and supporting our commitment to exceptional customer experience.
This is an in-office position.

Primary responsibilities:
- Local Number Portability, 911 Services, Quotes & Circuit Ordering, Pre-Engineering, and Circuit Database
- Place all number port orders with the appropriate LEC (Local Exchange Carrier)
- Monitor port orders and correct any issues within a timely manner
- Complete customer number port by working with PBX vendor (Private Branch Exchange) to ensure successful turn-up of services
- Accurately enter 911 information into database and confirm acceptance
- Work with varying departments to resolve any 911 issues
- Work with Sales Reps to resolve any issues with information in quotes, and expectations of quote results
- Monitor circuit orders, ensuring all uses related to the delivery of the circuit are addressed in a timely manner
- Maintain written pre-engineering procedures
- Select hardware needed to serve a customer with a particular circuit type
- Enter information into circuit database for new circuits and update existing circuits as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Regular reliable attendance
Qualifications:
- Strong managerial, leadership, and technical skills
- Telecommunications experience preferred, but not required
